Texas Water Problems
Crusader of Texas removes arsenic from drinking water with specialty filtration and reverse osmosis. Arsenic occurs naturally in some Texas groundwater — test today.

Arsenic occurs naturally in some Texas groundwater and carries serious long-term health risks. Our specialty media and reverse osmosis systems are designed to reduce arsenic to safe levels. Testing is the essential first step.

At Crusader, we use a whole house arsenic removal system, the Enhanced Filtration or Reverse Osmosis depending on the level of contaminant detection.
Did you know that for many years arsenic was used in cotton fields to kill the boll weevil and protect the cotton? The fields that were used for cotton have residues of arsenic, which can seep into ground water. Arsenic is an abundant, naturally occurring element that can be found at varying concentrations in the Earth's outer crust. The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and US EPA have classified arsenic as a human carcinogen.
Groundwater consumption is one of the most common sources of arsenic exposure. Skin absorption of arsenic is negligible; therefore, hand washing and bathing do not currently pose a known risk to human or animal health. Reducing levels of Arsenic in drinking water is extremely important to protect yourself from the potential health issues associated with chronic Arsenic exposure.
Our systems are engineered to work in single-tank or lead/lag configurations and have: NSF/ANSI Standard 61 Certified Media, proven iron chemistry, no fines, no backwash, centrally regenerable media, optimal flow dynamics, rapid adsorption kinetics, and low pressure drop. Spent media passes the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP).
