Reverse osmosis filters your drinking water down to the molecular level, removing dissolved solids, many contaminants, and the tastes and odors you don’t want. We can make restaurant drinking water as fresh as a natural spring — and do the same for your kitchen tap. Our drinking-water systems are multi-stage RO units (such as the Pentair FreshPoint 5-stage GRO-575B) that have been tested and trusted for over 30 years.
A multi-stage RO system reduces lead and other heavy metals, chlorine tastes and odors, pharmaceuticals, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), pesticides and herbicides, bacteria, viruses and cysts (like Cryptosporidium and Giardia), and dirty or discolored water.
Microplastics: because the RO membrane filters far smaller than a micron, it physically removes the vast majority of microplastics — along with lead and PFAS “forever chemicals” — right at your drinking-water tap. The Pentair FreshPoint GRO-575B is NSF-certified to Standards 42, 53 and 58 (and CSA B483.1) and reduces up to 98% of PFOA/PFOS; it is not separately certified to a microplastics standard.
