Crusader SHIELD Sediment filters use dual-layer pleated or spun-yarn media to maximize dirt-holding capacity and service life — high flow, low pressure drop, with double O-ring seals.
Dual-layer protection from sediment. Crusader SHIELD Sediment filters come in two styles: dual-gradient double-pleated filters (ideal for uniform-sized particles, ~100 ft² surface area for long life and high flow) and dual-gradient spun-yarn filters (ideal for variably-sized particles). Both use a protective outer layer and a selective inner layer to maximize dirt-holding capacity while keeping pressure drop low.
Double Buna-N O-ring seals ensure no contaminant bypass, durable polyester/polypropylene construction resists bacteria and chemicals, and belly bands on select models prevent collapse under heavy load. Great for drinking water, reverse osmosis, rainwater harvest, food/beverage and more.
