The Twin Platform was developed to deliver that uptime along with the highest levels of water and salt efficiency for our Professional, Deluxe and Enhanced systems.
Our innovative Twin-Alternating Platform pairs the field-proven Clack mechanical twin-alternating valve with Crusader's proprietary firmware for rock-solid reliability and a simplified user experience. Because a second tank takes over while the other cleans, you can depend on 100% treated water, 100% of the time — there is zero downtime during cleaning or backwash cycles.
It's a configuration rather than a separate model, so it can be built from any Crusader softener (Professional, Deluxe or Enhanced). If you require even more capacity or larger flows, ask about Crusader Progressive Flow systems.
Two tanks run in alternation: one stays in service delivering treated water while the other regenerates. When the in-service tank nears capacity, the field-proven Clack mechanical twin-alternating valve hands duty to the freshly regenerated tank — so soft water never stops, even during a cleaning or backwash cycle. Crusader's proprietary firmware manages the hand-off and keeps water and salt use efficient.
