Ultrafiltration is a standalone product — it can be installed on its own or in conjunction with other Crusader systems (for example as a final-polishing stage after a softener, or on rainwater/greywater reclamation). The automatic, self-cleaning Crusader CS-UF-01 uses Enpress’ patented liner and filters to 0.02 micron, serving as a “final barrier” against suspended solids, bacteria, mold, viruses, cysts, high-molecular-weight tannins and turbidity.
It runs on normal line pressure, offers low pressure drop, and has an onboard injection system that backwashes, forward-flushes and disinfects the membrane automatically; a manual flush valve is included. A single module treats up to 12 gpm and can run in parallel with up to four others or feed a storage tank for higher demand.
Microplastics: because the membrane filters to 0.02 micron — far smaller than a microplastic particle — it physically blocks microplastics, making it an effective whole-home option for reducing them. (The membrane is NSF 61 certified and BioVir-tested for log reduction; it is not separately certified to a microplastics standard.)

The CS-UF-01 pushes water through Enpress’ patented hollow-fiber membrane at 0.02 micron, physically straining out suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, cysts, mold, high-molecular-weight tannins and turbidity while letting clean water pass at normal line pressure.
An onboard injection system backwashes, forward-flushes and disinfects the membrane fibers on a programmed schedule, and a manual flush valve is included. A single module treats up to 12 gpm and can run in parallel with up to four others, or feed a storage tank for higher demand.
