Say goodbye to bad-tasting, odorous water. Crusader SHIELD Chlorine & Chloramine filters are specially engineered to maximize chlorine-, chloramine- and dirt-capturing capacity. The chloramine media contains catalytically active nitrogen groups that give it 5× more chloramine-reduction capacity than industry-standard carbon blocks; standard chlorine filters use highly activated sustainable carbon.
Built from high-performance carbon with an outer polyethylene wrap and FDA-approved, NSF 61-certified coconut-shell carbon (California Prop 65 compliant), they offer minimal pressure drop and high capacity — ideal as polishing or pre-filters for residential, commercial, industrial or food-service use.
