A chlorine injection system meters a precise dose of chlorine into your water ahead of a contact tank, where it does three jobs at once: disinfects (coliform, iron and sulfur bacteria, the biofilm they build), oxidizes dissolved iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide into filterable particles, and keeps the plumbing clean downstream of the well.
The build: an NSF-listed chemical feed pump (we use Chem-Tech precision pumps) proportioned to your flow, a retention/contact tank sized for the kill time the chemistry requires, filtration to capture the oxidized metals — and a catalytic carbon stage that removes the chlorine before it reaches your taps. You get the disinfection without ever tasting it.
It's the workhorse answer for wells with iron bacteria, recurring coliform hits, combined iron-plus-sulfur loads, and any system where a one-time shock keeps wearing off. Where the chemistry favors it, hydrogen peroxide injection plays the same position with a different chemical — the water analysis makes the call.
